Why Retrofit your PacDrive system?
Conducting an ELAU PacDrive retrofit may seem complicated at first, but with our experience no retrofit is too big or too small! Your existing ELAU PacDrive EPAS-4 program can convert to Schneider Electric’s PacDrive 3 SoMachine Motion and Machine Expert programming software with relative ease. As for electrical, the PacDrive 3 LXM52 are just about a 1 to 1 replacement for the ELAU MC-4 servo drives, or a reconfiguration of you system to Schneider’s PacDrive 3 LXM62 could simplify your electrical setup and save space and energy. The ELAU iSH integrated motors/drives are easily replaced with the ILM62 Servo Motors/Drives with the motors being 1 t0 1 replacements for size and performance (new cables and additional hardware required). The ELAU SM Motors can also be replaced by the SH Servo Motors which are the standard for PacDrive 3. Already have SH motors on your ELAU MC-4 system? No problem! We can keep your existing SH servo motors when we replace the servo drives and controller leading to a quicker downtime during the system retrofit.
